Squirrel proof bird feeder?

6 months ago, i bought a bird feeder. it was called the ';yankee tipper';. i'm close to a spruce tree. and squirrels live with the birds in the tree. the squirrels jump off the tree and eat upside down. and then the crows fly at the same time while they eat. then, i bought a dome-like thing for the squirrels. but they still eat upside down. now, the squirrels scared off the small birds that i enjoy. i live in the Kansas City-Prairie village area, so i was wondering if there is any good feeders around here. i don't want to buy on the internet, please.Squirrel proof bird feeder?
My mom buys some birdseed that has some sort of pepper in it, which the birds still enjoy, but the squirrels HATE it. if you sprinkle it around the bird feeder too, they'll eat a piece and then never go back once they taste it.

I think it's called ';squirrel off'; or something. and it's totally humane.Squirrel proof bird feeder?
One thing you can do is to move your feeder further away from the tree with all the squirrels in it. Move it at least 10 feet away from the tree or anywhere a squirrel can jump from in your yard. Another thing you can do is to place some cayenne pepper in the bird feeder. It won't hurt the birds, but squirrels hate it.
The key is to put it where the squirrels can not jump to it. And thats not really an easy thing to do.
Honestly, I have yet to see any truly squirrel proof feeder.
